Database Statistics

1. Protein entries according to protein type

Data stores in our database resides effector proteins of three secretion systems. That is, type III secretion system effectors (T3SEs), type VI secretion system effectors (T4SEs) and type VI secretion system effectors (T6SEs). Here, we listed the proteins according to their protein type.

2. Protein entries according to type and origin

In our database. 927 T3SEs, 260 T4SEs and 52 T6SEs reside in UniProt database. 303 T3SEs, 471 T4SEs and 129 T6SEs reside in NCBI. Here, we visualized the protein distribution.

3. Protein entries according to species

We collected species for proteins in our database. Unfortunately, not every entry exist its organism information. Here, we analyzed the proteins according to their protein species.

4. Sequence Blast and Alignment

We did Blast against Uniprot database (reviewed) for all of our entries. Then sequences with e-value smaller than 0.001 and identity greater than 0.08 were selected for alignment.
